Where Locals Support Locals.

Pegs Locations

It’s a place where the locals support locals.

At Pegs we support the growth of the local community and economy.

The Pegs app allows businesses to offer discounted prices to their local supporters. Locals will receive a discount, have the option to send a tip to the business, and can choose to donate a portion of the discount to a local charity.

Our Currency.

Pegs allows businesses to offer discounted prices to their local supporters through the Pegs app. Businesses choose the discount offered to locals, allowing them to trade efficiently to both locals and tourists.

Our Connection.

We know how important the connection between locals and local business and we want to foster this in Byron. Through Pegs businesses can offer discounted rates for their local supporters to show how much their support means to them.

Our Community.

Pegs has partnered with local charities as we understand the important role these organisations have on the wider community. Through Pegs, locals can choose to donate a portion of their discount to one of our partner charities. Supporting local business and local charity in one go.

Welcome To Pegs!

The Importance of Localisation

We sat down with our friend Helena Norberg Hodge, founder of Local Futures to discuss the importance of strengthening the local community through localisation. She highlights that “when you rebuild the local economy, you rebuild the fabric of community.”
