From our App

  1. Click on Sign Up: Open the Local Pegs app and click on the 'Sign Up' tab located in the center of the screen. Choose whether you're signing up as a local, a business owner, or as a charity or club.
  1. Select Your Community: Choose your community from the options provided. This is typically where you live and where you'll be using the platform.
  1. Provide Your Details: Fill out the registration form with some basic information, including your name, email address, password, date of birth, and residential address. You'll also need to enter a code sent to your phone to confirm your identity.
    Businesses, charities, and clubs are asked to provide additional information during registration. This helps us ensure the integrity of the Local Pegs app and maintain a secure community for all users.
  1. Verify Your Email: Check your email inbox for a verification message from Local Pegs. Click on the verification button 'Verify Now' provided within to confirm your email address and activate your account. Please note that email verification is required to make withdrawals.
  1. Start Exploring: Congratulations! You're now a member of the Local Pegs community. Start exploring all the features and benefits available to you.

Currently, signing up via the browser is only available for businesses. If you're a business owner looking to sign up, simply click the login button on our website.


FAQs

Can I sign up for Local Pegs as a business? Absolutely! To register as a business user, simply download the Local Pegs app from your device's app store and follow the provided signup process. Once completed, you can choose to finalise the onboarding steps via your browser or wait 3-5 business days for Local Pegs admin to validate your account. Please note, your account will not be live on the app until either the onboarding is complete or admin has approved it, whichever comes first.

What if I don't receive the verification email? If you don't receive the verification email within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, contact our support team at info@localpegs.com.au for assistance.

Is there a cost to sign up for Local Pegs? No, signing up for Local Pegs is entirely free for all users, including businesses, charities, and individuals.

Can I use Local Pegs outside of my community? While Local Pegs primarily focuses on connecting users with businesses and events in their local area, you can still utilise the platform while traveling or exploring different regions.

However, please note that any discounts offered may vary and are subject to the specific visitor discount set by venues. For example, if you're in a location different from your designated local community, you would receive the visitor discount applicable at those venues.
