  • Brunswick Valley Landcare

    Dedicated to conserving the stunning biodiversity of Byron Shire (750+ native plants!), Brunswick Valley Landcare works hand-in-hand with volunteers and landholders to protect and restore our precious environment. They offer workshops, field trips, and events, leading by example in sustainable land management.

    Your donation will greatly support their efforts in implementing sustainable land management practices to protect and enhance local wildlife habitats, safeguard sensitive beach dune areas, and promote regenerative agriculture in our community.

  • Seabin Foundation

    Seabin Foundation’s mission is to tackle the issue of marine pollution through research and community engagement, with an emphasis on plastic pollution.

    The Seabin technology, a marine rubbish bin similar to a pool skimmer, provides valuable insights about key littered items in the marine environment including microplastics.

  • Ingrained Foundation

    Ingrained Foundation supports grassroots environmental and social not-for-profits in the Northern Rivers to make meaningful change in our community. Through annual grants, long-term partnerships and emergency relief funding they are working with our community to enable a regenerative and thriving region.

  • Owl & the PussyCat

    The Owl & The PussyCat Farm Animal Sanctuary is a registered charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted, neglected and abused farmed animals.

    Currently they have nearly 70 rescue residents in care including horses, goats, chickens, ducks, sheep and cows, all living in peace, kindness, and with the best possible care.

    Shedding Community Workshop is an all-inclusive workshop space in Mullum. It’s a place for the community to come together and discover a passion for tools, hands-on learning, and self-discovery. They care passionately about the people and the environment of the Byron Shire, and use tools as a way to build community, resilience and self-empowerment.

    The Kind Farm Horse Rescue is a Horse Rescue Network saving horses at risk of slaughter. Offering horses kindness, with the intention for them to heal emotionally and physically, to build trust and to have the freedom to be who they truly are.

    Byron Bay FC caters for all ages from Under 6 to senior men and women, accommodating both male and female teams, mixed and gender-based teams.

  • ReForest Now

    ReForest Now works to restore critically endangered rainforest in the Byron hinterland. Their team has planted over half a million trees locally since 2019. They aim for high species and genetic diversity, utilising more than 100 native varieties to recreate a resilient and functioning ecosystem.

  • Mental Health Support Group

    Mental Health Support Group is a registered charity that is concerned with the welfare of those who are living with a mental illness. The group has been operating in the Northern Rivers Region for 21 years. It is run entirely by volunteers and receives no government funding.

    Queer Family reduces social isolation and improves mental wellbeing through the creation of safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ people and allies to connect, build and strengthen community in the Northern Rivers.
