Step 1: Download the “Local Pegs” app
Step 2: Create your Pegs account using your contact details and email.
Step 3: Top up your account
You will need to deposit money into your account before using the app. Follow these steps:
On your home screen, locate and tap the "DEPOSIT" button.
Enter the amount you want to add to your account as a top-up.
Provide your credit card details, including the card number, expiration date, and CVC code.
Auto Deposit
Enable Auto Deposit to ensure your Pegs balance is always replenished automatically. Simply set the deposit amount and minimum balance, and let Auto Deposit take care of the rest. Auto Deposit and Manual Deposit remain fee free!
Quick Pay
Say goodbye to manual top ups for larger purchases! QuickPay allows you to pay any shortfall from your Pegs balance directly from your payment card, making transactions faster and easier.
With QuickPay enabled, you can pay for your night out or accommodation expenses without manually depositing funds first. QuickPay incurs a nominal 2.2% service fee and requires a minimum $6 deposit to your Pegs balance.
Marketplace
The Local Marketplace offers a platform for selling various one-of-a-kind items, hosting garage sales, renting out rooms, or hiring equipment or items and anything else you may think of.
